Montana Grasslands Beef® from Ferry Creek Ranch is organicaly raised on pasture from start to finish. Our cattle are raised sustainably. It is our philosophy that if we take care of the land it will take care of us.

At Montana Grasslands Beef® we raise cattle the old fashioned way taking the time and care needed to produce superb tasting beef from grass, water and sunlight. Calves are born on summer pasture and lead a natural, low-stress life in harmony with the seasons.

Ferry Creek Ranch is a 560 acre ranch located by the Yellowstone River where the great plains meet the rockies. It is one of the oldest ranches in the state with buildings on the National Historic Trust register.

Rob Forstenzer and his family raise grass-finished Galloway beef and the ranch has been certified organic since 2002. The livestock lead a natural life sharing the land with an abundance of wildlife.
